My Story
Hi, my name is Kristine Jelstrup. I have been a natural health care practitioner in Cambridge for more than 20 years.
My path to my current profession wasn’t a straight one. I was born in Davenport Iowa where my Danish mother and Norwegian father were studying to become chiropractors. Healing runs in our family. My grandmother was a nurse, my uncle was into radionics, one cousin is a homeopathic practitioner and another is a nurse.
Like many young people I had to go on my own path down a different road initially so I ended up producing television commercials in LA. I always had an interest in health and healing though so when I got tired of selling people fast food and big cars I got serious about helping people feel better!
My father advised me to start with a massage certification to get some foundational knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Then he advised me to study under Dr. Lawrence Newsum, Dr. Tedd Koren and Dr. Frank Springob. Together with work my father has taught me these three chiropractors make up the foundation of the Muscle Response Testing techniques I use today.
In a nutshell, the muscle response testing techniques I use help me to be a facilitator of information from my client’s nervous systems to my clients. I look for systems that have energetic blockages, figure out why they have energetic blockages, get the systems the nutritional support they need and then my client’s bodies do the rest.
If you find the root causes of ill health and give the body the raw materials it needs, incredible healing can occur. Just ask the body!
